A congregation whose thoughts, motivation, words and actions are inspired by Jesus and the heart that he has for everyone; where all are welcome and encouraged to be part our faith journey and valued for who they are, just as they are.
Our values…
Are based on Jesus’ teaching and actions, and are our blueprint for life. They include:
God Centred: We will put God at the centre of our lives and all that we do – as individuals and as a congregation.
Spirit filled: We want the Holy Spirit to fill our lives so that God can work out His purposes in us and through us (and in spite of us).
Servant Leadership: We will endeavour at all times to equip, empower, encourage and affirm. Working together with the wider congregation we will be sensitive to opportunities to gently steer our faith walk, providing support and challenge as appropriate.
Inclusive: Our aim is to recognize and value people for who they are. To discern and offer the opportunity to be involved in all that we do and to encourage their contribution – especially where they are developing their gifts and capabilities.
Connecting with our communities: As a congregation we will be there for, and involved in, the communities of which we are a part – in the workplace, in education, at leisure, at home, in our community neighbourhoods, and as part of (and accountable to) the wider church.
Big hearted: We will look for ways in which we can demonstrate God’s love by giving generously – of ourselves, our money, possessions, hospitality and our time.
